Connect in under a minute

Pick your platform — the fastest way is always the same first step: open a proxy link from the channel.

  1. Open Telegram and join telegram.me/foxproxy1.

  2. Tap any proxy link in the channel. Telegram opens a confirmation screen showing the server address.

  3. Tap "Connect Proxy." A green shield icon appears in your chat list header when it's active.

Common questions

What is an MTProto proxy?
MTProto is Telegram's own proxy protocol. It routes your Telegram traffic through an intermediate server so your connection reaches Telegram even when Telegram's servers are blocked directly. Unlike a VPN, it only reroutes Telegram — everything else on your device keeps its normal connection.
Is MTProto safe to use?
Your chats stay end-to-end encrypted the same way they would without a proxy — an MTProto proxy cannot read your messages. What a proxy operator can see is that your device is connecting to Telegram, plus basic connection metadata. Stick to sources you trust, and prefer servers using the newer "fake-TLS" secret type when available.
How do I connect to an MTProto proxy?
Tap a proxy link posted in the FoxProxy channel — Telegram opens a confirmation screen automatically. Or add one manually in Settings → Data and Storage → Proxy with the server, port, and secret. See the full guide above.
Why did my proxy stop working?
Free proxy servers get blocked, run out of bandwidth, or go offline over time — that's normal for any proxy, not just FoxProxy's. The list refreshes every hour, so open the channel again and grab whichever proxy was posted most recently.
Does FoxProxy work in Iran?
